In July 2022, after the departure of the former director, Cristina was nominated Interim Artistic Director of DAP, comprising Teatro Municipal do Porto, Festival DDD and CAMPUS Paulo Cunha e Silva.
From February 2023 onwards, in an attempt for a new leadership model, became coARTISTIC DIRECTOR together with Drew Klein.
The collaboration with Teatro Municipal do Porto began in 2017 and 2018, when, in both years, Cristina Planas Leitão joined the audience mediation team for the period of DDD - Festival Dias da Dança.
In September 2018, she was invited by then Artistic Director Tiago Guedes to take over the role of General Coordinator of DDD - Festival Dias da Dança for the edition of 2019, on a full-time basis.
In May 2019, she became the Performing Arts Curator at Teatro Municipal do Porto and DDD - Festival Dias da Dança for the following seasons and in 2021 she created the artistic project, guidelines and mission of the new CAMPUS Paulo Cunha e Silva, in an going research around new formats and ways of sustainable research and and support to artists, with a focus on locality.
Since then, has been Performing Arts curator for the regular season of TM Porto, DDD - Festival and CAMPUS PCS.
